Developed by Psychologist Dan Hughes, PACE is a way of being with your child, which is informed by our understanding of the importance of the qualities of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy.
The aim of using a PACE in parenting is to help build trust for your child, and build your confidence in helping your child to understand their past and current experiences.
During this webinar, we will explore the four elements of PACE in detail to increase your understanding and confidence in using this approach.
Recommended for: All stages of adoption and fostering.
This webinar is free of charge for Adoption Matters families and Foster Care Matters families. It is also free for Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) families who are currently receiving support from the Centre for Fostering and Adoption Support.
If you’re not connected to Adoption Matters, Foster Care Matters or CFAS, then you can still attend our webinars but at a cost of just £5 per person.
We offer closed captioning on our webinars to provide a live transcript of what is being said – if you would like to have this activated, then please do contact us at the point of booking so that the facilitator is aware.
