The prominence of social media has significantly altered our communication. People are now sharing more about their lives, and learn more about others, than before.
This webinar looks into complexities that being adopted and fostered brings to a persons online identity and how we can support children who have experienced trauma in using social media while considering their safety and privacy.
Recommended for: All stages of adoption and fostering, particularly those with children who have access to their own social media.
This webinar is free of charge for Adoption Matters families and Foster Care Matters families. It is also free for Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) families who are currently receiving support from the Centre for Fostering and Adoption Support.
If you’re not connected to Adoption Matters, Foster Care Matters or CFAS, then you can still attend our webinars but at a cost of just £5 per person.
We offer closed captioning on our webinars to provide a live transcript of what is being said – if you would like to have this activated, then please do contact us at the point of booking so that the facilitator is aware.
