Become a foster parent with Foster Care Matters and we will support you every step of the way. We are part of a charity, not-for-profit, as it should be, we re-invest to offer our foster families ongoing therapeutic training and support.

You don’t need any special training or qualifications to foster – we’ll provide that along with competitive allowances of £430-£460 per child, per week.

All our foster parents receive therapeutic training and ongoing support to develop the skills they need to help children thrive. Every year, tens of thousands of children across the UK need foster parents while they can’t live with their own families. Foster Care Matters is a not-for-profit fostering agency, and we are urgently looking for foster parents in Cheshire right now for the many children in care in the region. Just as no two children are the same, neither are foster parents, but they all have one thing in common – a passion and strong desire to help make a difference to vulnerable children and young people.

The Process

The fostering journey starts when you first consider fostering and if it is right for you and your family. Contact our friendly enquiry advisers who can talk you through the process in detail.
